What we offer
Flexible Packages
The length of our packages are formulated according to the individual needs of our clients and the reasons for their stay with us. We assess whether our clients are in crisis or are simply transiting from one facility to another. This assessment is a free service to determine the best course of action required..
Drug testing
Ongoing drug testing is a vital part of any relapse plan. It impacts the client and their relationships with their families or financial sponsors.
Client-centred Treatment Planning
Our counsellors stay connected with our clients' loved ones and family members. The client’s focal counsellor will send the family members feedback on the client on a weekly basis. Substance use disorder affects all areas of the client’s life and those close to them. The most affected by this, is the immediate family structure. When families lose trust, it is difficult for them to manage the functionality of their relationship. We aim to foster honest and healthy communication within the family structure, by including them in the client's treatment process. Family reintegration and communication is very important for the family’s healing process. We have family sessions to discuss treatment tracking feedback and reintegration back into the family.
Individual Counseling
Counseling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors through challenging and identifying aspects of their lives that they would like to change. This process assists them to better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change. Having this individual attention from our counselors will improve their communication and interpersonal skills. They also work on the following: Greater selfacceptance and self-esteem, ability to change, self-defeating behaviors/habits, better expression and management of emotions including anger, relief from depression anxiety and any other mental health conditions.
Peer Driven Psychotherapy
This therapy is a humanistic, holistic, person-centered form of psychotherapy and is focused on a person's present life and challenges rather than delving into past experiences. This approach stresses the importance of understanding the context of a person's life and taking responsibility rather than placing blame. The unfolding of the psychotherapeutic relationship is considered to proceed in four main stages: Commitment, Process, Change and Termination. Each stage has its own tasks and sub-stages and must be reasonably completed before transition to the next phaze of treatment can take place.
Recovery Workshops
For many halfway houses the treatment requirements are that their clients may not stay on the premises during the day. We provide workshops that not only help them maintain personal safety in recovery but enhance their existing knowledge of recovery. Relapse prevention is a key part of this service.
Family Communication and Reintegration
Our counsellors stay connected with our clients' loved ones and family members. The client’s focal counsellor will send the family members feedback on the client on a weekly basis. Substance use disorder affects all areas of the client’s life and those close to them. The most affected by this, is the immediate family structure. We aim to foster honest and healthy communication within the family structure, by including them in the client's treatment process. Family reintegration and communication is very important for the family’s healing process. We have family sessions to discuss treatment tracking feedback and reintegration back into the family.
Re-intergration Planning
Leaving primary care can be a scary process for the client being discharged; as well as their family. Our Halfway House is a safe and therapeutic environment which helps our clients bridge the gap between primary care back into their normal life routines. Integration back into society is the next step.
Client Specific Relapse Prevention Planning
Our clients come from different walks of life and face different challenges. We help our clients with a crisis intervention programme, and individual plans specifically tailored to meet these challenges. We help them to transit into the next phase of their treatment.
Outpatient (OP)
These services are provided to clients who have been referred to us by others and corporate companies looking for a solution to their employee struggling with addiction. We work on individual plans for the client and cooperate with the employer. We provide drug testing and after-hours emergency services.
Harm Reduction
Harm reduction is a strategy used to look at our client’s entire world. We look at how we can reduce harm and reduce the impact addiction has had on their lives and their families. This approach meets the person where they are at and works on realistic solutions that are adapted for their needs. This approach uses compassion and empathy which makes the difference for many people.

Alcoholism.
An alcoholic may drink to the detriment of their health and contribute to their own mental and emotional destruction. Alcoholics can suffer blackouts and binge drink for days. Sometimes they can stop for a while only to discover, when they start drinking again, that they drink the same amount and often more than when they stopped. Alcoholism is a progressive disease. A Medical assisted detoxification is vital.

Illicit Drugs.
Drug addiction is the inability to stop the urge to take drugs, despite the dangerous consequences that are both physical and mental. Drug addiction can cause personal, family and career difficulties and even legal concerns. The user will put his drug of choice before his/her own interests and safety.

Precsription Medication Abuse
When a client takes medication without following a doctor’s instructions, it may be the start of prescription drug abuse. Increasing the dosage without consulting a medical practitioner to gain more or quicker efficacy from the drug is a common practise. Then the client may begin to take the medication for unrelated symptoms. For example, they may take the prescription drug to aid sleep or to lessen stress when the medication is actually for pain relief. Dependency begins as the client needs the drug to feel normal or to avoid withdrawal symptoms such as sweating and nausea.

Gambling
As with any other addiction, compulsive gambling is threefold in nature: mental, physical and spiritual, with its main symptom being that of denial and its major characteristic loss of control. The compulsive gambler frequently spends more time and money gambling than they intended and are unable to reliably predict when they will stop once they have started.

Shopping Addiction.
Shopping addiction is a behavioral addiction that involves compulsive buying as a way to feel good and avoid negative feelings, such as anxiety and depression. Like other behavioral addictions, shopping addiction can take over as a preoccupation that leads to problems in other areas of your life.

Dual-Diagnosis Disorders
Dual Diagnosis Treatment is a method of treatment in which a person is diagnosed with both a substance use disorder (such as alcohol use disorder) and a mental health disorder (such as depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, anxiety attacks, etc.). An interaction between the two conditions will make rehabilitation more complex, resulting in a less desirable care outlook and a higher risk of adverse health effects if not treated properly.

Eating Disorders
Eating disorders affect millions of people worldwide. More common than most people think, these disorders are progressive and display the same characteristics as any other addiction whereby the sufferer is trapped in a helpless cycle of obsessive and compulsive behaviour, unable to break free of the need to escape their feelings of obsessive control.
