I fought Mudita Cara, Marco, my family, my son and the ppl I love every step of the way. My addiction wanted me to die, it did not want me to live a life of true love, light, peace and happiness. I hated myself, I was an addict for 27years and loved my drug of choice and needle more than anything else. It’s not a condemning rehabilitation centre but their approach is more helpful and encouraging no matter how much you used or what you’ve done in your past. He is truly an inspiration in just what can be achieved if you do your programme willingly and take suggestions on board. Mudita Cara was recommended to me by one of the very reputable social workers in Johannesburg as a top primary rehab facility . My son has been admitted there a couple of times. The facility is run in an unprofessional manner and by skeletal staff up until 6 May 2023. The electric fence has not been working nor the garage in the facility as well the gate, no security company. There was intrusion at the facility which has minimum security and had a very bad impact on my son. The place is extremely disorganized and pig style. They do not offer any basics such as curtains in the windows, soap, washing curtains and and everything in shambles. The food is beyond substandard and I will not recommend this facility to anyone looking to rehabilitate their loved ones as it unprofessionally run. Big red flag they also offer NO REFUNDS. My son wanted to leave the facility and they allowed him to walked out before I arrived to fetch him. What a FANTASTIC place Mudita Cara is! I have sent several young men in need of drug detox to the team here and they are SO knowledgeable and SO compassionate. Each guy we have sent to this program is taken care of in every respect. We always know that each guy we send is in very very good hands.
